Welcome..
We welcome existing apprentice licence holders as well as new enthusiastic riders looking for a career in race riding.
Applicants must have attended the British Racing School NVQ2 Foundation course in order to hold an apprentice licence.
The Links below will give more infomation via the British Racing School website.
If the applicant has not yet attended the BRS foundation course, experience can be gained here at Adam West training whilst applying for either the 9 week residential course OR the 4 week intensive residential course depending on what Adam feels is right for you. For this you must be the minimum of 16 years old.

Once the foundation apprenticeship is completed and Adam is happy with the level of horsemanship and skill you have learnt, he will then send you back to the BRS to obtain your Apprentice Jockey licence.
If you are an existing licence holder, rides will be available at the start of the season.
Accommodation can be arranged.
Immediate start with a weeks trial.
Please feel free to email directly using our easy to use message box with your name, age, past experience and a short paragraph about yourself.
